After a 6 monthes hiatus from my blog posting I have finnlay read the book that inspired me to start this blog in the first place. Although, to be honest, it was not the book but the movie that inspired me. That movie would of course be Julie and Julia based off the book by Julie Powell. After claiming that I would read it for over a year and a half I finally did.
As this blog is supposed to be about my opinions and summaries of the book here is what I thought.
I was extremely amused and entertained by it, however, since there was not much plot line it did not draw me in to the point that I wanted to sit down and ravenously read through it. Hence, I have been attempting to read this work of writing for almost a month now. I feel quite accomplished that I have finally finished since I have been waiting patiently to finally write this blog post above all others.
In addition, I have read multiple other books since starting my new job as a program specialist for the YMCA Camp Edwards in East Troy, WI. here is their rating on a scale of 1-10

And, I have of course reread Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows for the upteenth time in preparation for the release of HP7 Part I on November 19th! I can't wait!
